This 14-day trip rich in memories and emotions can be personalised following the expectations that you will address to us.  

You will have the opportunity to explore unique landscapes, including carved mountains of rice terraces, karst formations of Ha Long bays, or country villages. You will meet and interact with the local population with the help of your guide. The latter will give you valuable information during your visits to sites that have witnessed the historical, cultural, spiritual and ethnic wealth of these countries.

Training sessions are also planned to allow riders to complete their training program before their race and to become familiar with the local weather conditions.

First day : Arrival in Hanoi

Welcome to Vietnam!

Your guide will meet you at your arrival this morning at the exit of the airport. You will easily recognize it in the middle of the crowd: it will hold a sign in your name. You will then meet your driver and get in his vehicle to take the road to the ancient capital of Vietnam. Your hotel room will be available upon your arrival to refresh and rest you if necessary. Second day: The Pu Luong Reserve

We will suggest starting at 4:30 a training around the 3 lakes. It is still cool, walkers, runners and bicycles have the monopoly of the streets. All converge on the lakes where they have an appointment to practice together their daily sports activity or simply to have a coffee or chat. You will have plenty of time to refresh and eat before leaving for the Ngo Luong Nature Reserve. Your stay begins with a lunch in the village of Chieng village. In the afternoon, you will walk through the rice terraces to Mu village where there is a waterfall before continuing to Khuong village. You will be welcomed in a guest house for dinner and overnight. You will have the opportunity during dinner to attend an ethnic dance show and taste cane wine.

Third day: End of your trek through the rice terraces

“Training possible at 5:30 from the guest house on the marked trails in the vicinity of the village.

You will leave your hosts at nine o’clock to walk to the village of Chieng for lunch. You will then join your driver who will drive you to Ninh Binh. The city is located on the outskirts of the locality which is called, because of its landscapes composed of karst peaks, the Halong Bay on earth. It was here that the emperors of the Dai Viet had settled the capital using the surrounding reliefs as a natural protection against the invader.

Fourth day: Halong Bay on Earth

“Training this morning from Tam Quoc along the Rooster Canal.

Hoa Lu, now in the center of Ninh Binh, was the capital of the country before the conquest of the Champa kingdom. The emperors had ordered the construction of Buddhist temples and pagodas along the river. These works are today the vestiges of the architecture and the skill of the woodcarvers of the time.

You will visit the main temples and monuments of Hoa Lu before joining the site of Tam Coc that you can explore by bike. You will end your day in the Van Long Nature Reserve, home to many species of waterfowl such as egrets, herons and long-tailed jacanas.

You will return to Hanoi at the end of the day. ”

Fifth day: Cruise on Lan Ha Bay

(Most of the training plans include a break day that day, if some wish, they will be able to redo all or part of the course of the previous day).

You will leave Hanoi to reach further north Hai Phong where you will embark on a junk for a two-day cruise and overnight. The humble junk engages towards the karstic peaks which obediently separate from each other allowing the passage before gathering behind it. The unique landscapes of the bay will be available to you in all their grandeur.

Sixth day: Cat Ba National Park

After breakfast, the boat will continue to make its way through the thousands of sugar loaves emerging from the turquoise waters. After lunch, you will land on the island of Cat Ba. You will use a small tender and a bicycle to get to your resort. Your tour guide will take you to the national park, known for sheltering langurs and many botanical or animal species. It will be also possible to train in the afternoon.

Seventh day: Run to Cat Ba and the fishing village

You will enjoy the early morning to train. You will leave after breakfast for an excursion to the fishing villages of the island. You will take a ferry back to the mainland. You will take a flight to Huế in the evening.

Eight day: The imperial city of Huế

The second emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty, you will pass through Lang Co, a beach suitable for swimming and the Col des Nuages, where you will enjoy a breathtaking break on the sea and the bay of Da Nang.

Eleventh day: Cham temples of My Son

Thirteenth day: Angkor Wat and the Hindu temple Banteay Samré

Small morning training along the river. Departure in Tuktuk to pick up your bib. Fourteenth day: Angkor Wat Half Marathon

“It’s Race Day, and you’ll be leaving by tuk tuk well in advance so you can warm up.
This race is unique. You will have the chance to follow a route designed to pass in front of the most beautiful architectural works of the world built by the Khmer Empire between the 9th and 15th centuries. The event is very popular with locals and especially younger people who gather along the road to cheer and cheer.
Tuk tuks will be waiting for you on arrival to bring you back in groups of 4 to the hotel. The rest of the day will be free until you transfer to Siem Reap International Airport and your return flight. “
