First day: Arrival in Hanoi

Your French speaking guide will greet you upon arrival at Hanoi International Airport, Noi Bai. Your driver will take you to the heart of the capital, to your hotel where you can settle and refresh yourself before starting your tours.

The city that celebrated its millennium a few years ago has preserved a notorious historical and religious heritage despite the many influences of its allied countries and the constraints imposed by Chinese or French administrations.

Day Two: Cruise in the legendary Halong Bay

You will leave the bustling capital city for Halong Bay along the road along the Red River Delta. You board a traditional junk that has been privatized for your group. It will weave through the maze of karst peaks of Lan Ha Bay, one of the most unspoiled parts of Ha Long Bay, where sea kayaks are still allowed.

Your cruise to discover lagoons and fishing villages continues all morning. You will disembark after lunch and join the capital

Fourth day: Route to the high region and start of your trek

You will leave Hanoi early this morning for the upper region, towards the Song Chay Massif near the Chinese border. Many ethnic groups settled there when they arrived from the Middle Kingdom, where they were either threatened or exposed to famines.

Your trek begins this afternoon through the carved slopes of rice terraces. A Tays family is waiting for you to dine and to host you. Bamboo and wild tea populate the groves. You are at one of the starting points of the famous Tea Route that ends in Pakistan after crossing Yunnan and the Tibet Plateau.

Fifth day: Meeting with the long tunic Yaos

You cross the “Gate of the Sky”, a collar crowned with forest with rare essences and the mixture of tropical and temperate flora, like trees of the family of chestnut or tree ferns and orchids. You will be welcomed tonight at the Nam Ai Long Tunic Yaos.

Sixth day: Traditional bath with medicinal plants

You walk along the valley of Suoi Nam, farms on stilts backed up with the mountain and always close to the water succeed one another in a landscape of rice terraces. The Mount Ki Liou Ti area where Song Chay originates is populated mainly by Hmong flowers, Man Ta Pan, Tays, Long Tunic Yaos and Nung Inh.

You will get back to the valley in the red daos family homestay.

Seventh day: Return to Hanoi

A vehicle will drive you very early this morning to Hoang Su Phi market, where tourists are scarce. You will probably have the opportunity to meet representatives of all ethnicities who hosted you or met you during your trek. You will take the road back to Hanoi. You will reach the capital at the very end of the day.

Eighth day: Cruise on the perfume river

You will take this morning a flight to Huế. Your guide will welcome you on your arrival.

You will visit the royal city before embarking on a junk for a short cruise that will take you to the pagoda of the Celest Lady. Later in the day you will visit the traditional village of Thanh Toan and its covered bridge.

Ninth day: Imperial mausoleums and meeting with local fishermen

You will leave this morning to discover the mausoleums of Emperors Ming Mang and Tu Duc. You will notice the architectural evolution between the two sets that allowed the sovereigns to welcome the sovereigns and their course away from the city. Day 10: Cloud Pass and the Old Harbor of Hoi An

You will take the road in the morning towards the South. You can stop at the large sandy beach of Lang Co, uncrowded, to swim or just rest. Your driver will then drive you to the Cloud Pass, where you will take a break to contemplate the view of Da Nang Bay.

You will arrive in Hoi An in the early afternoon. You will find on foot the Chinese, Japanese and French influences in the architecture of the old city, which was since the 15th century a prosperous port located on the roads of the silk trade, where rich merchants installed their counter. You will visit some old merchant houses and learn at the end of the day to make one of the lanterns that enliven the streets of the old town after dark. ”

Eleventh day: Market, cooking class and discovery of the surroundings of Hoi An

You will participate this morning in a cooking class that will take place in a village away from the city. This morning will begin at the market of the city where you will learn with your professor of the day to choose the products which will be used for the preparation of your dishes. You will then take a boat to reach the village. After lunch, you will have the opportunity to reach the city by bike to enjoy the countryside and observe the daily life of the locals.

You will enjoy the end of the day before taking a night train to Tuy Hoa.

Twelfth day: Seaside break on an island

“A driver will greet you upon arrival at Tuy Hoa Station and drive you to the resort pier on the Hon Gam Peninsula, an hour and a half drive away, where a boat will be waiting to take you to the hotel. Hon Ong Island.

You will be able to explore the resort’s marine reserve by snorkel, mask and snorkel, go on a kayak or canoe trip or sail on a catamaran or windsurf.
